Violet Dreams - Recorded at Konk Studios around 1976. "I never knew what to do with it. I wanted it to be a song about healing and transmuting negative energy."
I'm Sorry - "This song was written about the pain and emotion of the ending of a relationship." Recorded at Dave's demo studio in 1995.
Give Something Back - "A song written for the Planet." Recorded at Dave's demo studio in Maida Vale (London) early 1980's.
Hope - Written and recorded in Maida Vale mid 1980's.
Bright Lights - Original demo of the song that eventually ended up on the Kinks 'UK Jive' album. Recorded in Maida Vale mid 80's.
Open Up Your Heart - Original demo recorded at Dave's studio in Devon in the early 90's. Finally became 'Look Through Any Doorway' recorded for Kinks CD/EP 'Did Ya' in 1993.
Wait! - Written and recorded in Maida Vale early 80's.
No More Mysteries - Written and recorded in Maida Vale mid 80's. "The song is a dedication to a man I greatly admired and loved, mystic and Yogi, Sir George King.
Lost In Your Arms - Written & recorded at Dave's demo studio in North London, 1994. A song about passionate love.
Long Lonely Road - Original demo from around 1976/8. This was the first song written for the solo album AFLI-3603. Recorded at Konk Studios. Previously unreleased. This is the only remaining mix. Engineered by John Rollo

These tracks form part of a collection of unreleased demos Dave has accumulated over the years. There are more to come! All songs written, produced and performed by Dave Davies. All instruments played by Dave except 'Long Lonely Road' and 'Violet Dreams' with Nick Trevisick on drums and Andy Pyle on bass.
