Autumn Almanac
In A Moment
Ray then mentioned "My trusty blue guitar which has been with me for 15 years. It got thrown off the stage at Cambridge" (Actually it didn't get thrown off the stage, but Ray could be seen deliberating for a few seconds as to whether he was going to do so or not..I was saying in my head "Don't do it Ray! You'll regret it!" Thankfully he didn't, but it looked a bit lame when he laid it gently on the stage and stormed off into the wings. Oh dear! :-I)
Dedicated Follower of Fashion
(He remembered that Alan Sillitoe who died recently was a Nottingham man, and asked for a round of applause for him.
He mentioned The Kinks and then added tongue in cheek "I won't go on about the name, not like other people - Kast Off Kinks" - shaking his head!)
