Review - Sunny Afternoon musical, Hampstead Theatre, London

'Sunny Afternoon' at Hamstead Theatre - What an incredible show - the story of the Kinks rise to fame set against Ray Davies' wonderful songs. The cast were so good and the singing was just great with a wonderful rendition of "Days" "barber-shop" style. For me George Maguire stole the show with his portrayal of Dave Davies, you would have thought Dave had been cloned - Amazing. But the icing on the cake - Ray himself was there watching. A must for Kinks fans and a definite for any fans of the 60's. Well done to all concerned.
