Chords for "Imaginations Real"
Date: May 23, 2007 From: Raf Mostien I put down the chords using mostly standard chords. It's up to you to convert them to barré or power chords ad lib. Let me know if I need to adjust something in your opinion. I'm always eager to learn. The Bm maj7* chord leaves the A# note out of the Bm maj7 chord. I'm hopeless at finding the right chord names, so you'll have to live with it. Note that I use my thumb to grab the upper strings on the Bm chord and release my index to produce the maj7 variant. You can opt not to play the upper strings=> brackets. Play around with the chords and find out which strings (eg E) not to hit as they may alter the sound of the melody formed by the chords. You can also play Bm and omit the Bm maj7 chord. I like to name my split chords after the chord sequence and so I named a Em7/G chord which can be replaced by a standard G if you like. Note the only difference being the high G-note under the little finger. See what you prefer here!Define:
