Saw the Chicago show last night. Was based on Storyteller, but pretty loosely (i.e., he didn't follow the script very closely as he has in previous years, and didn't do a lot of the Storyteller songs (Art School Babe, Big Fat Cowboy, Julie Finkle), except for London Song and X-Ray.) Basically, it was an unplugged show with occasional monologues, and very enjoyable. Hadn't heard him do "Australia" before. He didn't perform any new songs, but he mentioned that next time he comes to town he'll have a new CD out and will be performing from that. Can't wait. Only complaint: Didn't get to hear him do his Allen Klein impression again ("What can I DO YOU for?")
